Artistic production

Since January, 13 artists in Rome, Milan and Naples have been working with students in 12 schools to develop digital art works that will be showcased at the Rome MAXXI during the Festival. The best work will receive a prize together with the winner of the international call.

The school digital art labs are part of the BNL Media Art Festival, an initiative promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in co-production with BNL – Group BNP Paribas. The Festival will be held on April 13-17, 2016 at the Rome MAXXI – Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo and in seven other prestigious locations: Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MIBACT), Phyrtual Innovation Gym, Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Rome University of Fine Arts (RUFA), Quasar Design University, Goethe Institut Rome, Chilean Embassy, Spanish Academy.

Here are the appointments in schools:

10-12 am – Leonardo Zaccone – IC Largo Cocconi  (Rome) for Project “Natura morta con palloncino” (Still Life with Balloon)

3-5 pm – Paolo Gatti and Francesco Bianco – IIS Sandro Pertini (Genzano) to develop a sound performance

2:45-4:45 pm – Marco Mendeni – IIS Marconi di Milano to develop a video
